ERIN HONEYWELL:

Ms. Honeywell is an award-winning vocalist and songwriter who has entertained crowds all over the United States, East Africa, and Brazil with her rich and soulful sound. With early influences including Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Erykah Badu, India Arie, and Stevie Wonder, Ms. Honeywell’s voice easily flows from transfixing jazz melodies to hard-hitting funk and soul-grabbing R&B.

Groove and Melody run deep in Ms. Honeywell’s veins, as her Mama and Papa raised her right in a humble Bay Area household overflowing with music and joy. Most Recently, Erin opened for the Screaming Eagle of Soul Charles Bradley, as well as Eli “Paperboy” Reed with the Stax-inpired soul band OTIS. Erin has shared the stage with the Soul and Blues legends Freddie Hughes and Maria Muldaur, as well as It’s a Beautiful Day and Journey’s Jonathan Cain, to name a few. She has also performed live on the world class KFOG, KPOO, and KUPS radio stations.

JERMAL WATSON:

As a young drummer, Jermal was brought along on the scene by two of its elder statesmen, Russell Batiste and Gerald French and for decades now, he has been among The Crescent City’s first-call drummers. His resume includes The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Eddie Roberts, and many more.
