NEIL LEVIN’s COSMIC BLUES
Neil Levin is a singer/songwriter, guitarist, and producer from Orange County, CA, known for pioneering the genre “Cosmic Blues,” which fuses blues and indie rock to revive emotional depth in modern music. Since founding his jam band counter conformity in 2018, Neil has released multiple solo and collaborative projects. He received his MA from Berklee College of Music in 2025 alongside of playing 150 shows and releasing his 3rd album, The Nightnoon.
Neil quote:
“I’m Neil Levin, a Singer/Songwriter and guitarist from SoCal, and my band and I
couldn’t be more stoked to bring our Cosmic Blues vibes to The Boom Boom
Room. It’s a legendary venue, and every time we play in SF, we feel at home.
We’re all deadheads at heart, putting our own jam band spin on the Blues, so in a
sense this music feels like we’re bringing it back to where it belongs. Strap in for
an epic night of Cosmic Blues jams, that are sure to give you your psychedelic fix
for the month!”
