Back Alley Nebula is excited to return to the Boom Boom Room with their genre bending
sounds of Jazz, Funk and Psychedelic.  Back Alley Nebula is a band by longtime Bay Area musicians strongly influenced by the likes of Funkadelic, Herbie Hancock and John Coltrane. 

They have performed multiple shows around Bay Area venues and were hand-picked by Dick Dale to open for him at one of his last performances. Back Alley Nebula will keep people dancing with their bass heavy infectious grooves and their ears filled with what the band refers to as “Bay Area Music.” C’mon out and enjoy a band whose sound you won’t hear anywhere else.

Nick Burke is a longtime Bay Area Tenor Sax player who played with such artists as John
Tchicai, Pete Escovedo, Howard Wales, Mike Olmos and many more.  Scott Jacobs was the longtime Bass player for Snake Jacobs’ Church of the Bearded Skeptics.
