A soul, rock and blues band that illuminates the unifying spirit of humanity!
Get ready for dancing and positive vibrations as Ben Musser & Walker Young’s passionate performance illuminates the unifying spirit of humanity through boot-stomping joy and seasoned vocals that move both themselves and others to sing and feel the emotion. Young, on vocals, keyboards, organs and accordion, co-fronted the band Truth & Salvage Co. which toured with the Black Crowes and the Avett Brothers for years. Musser, on vocals, guitars, and percussion, fronted indie soul band Benyaro. Drawing on influences such as Chuck Berry, The Grateful Dead, JJ Cale, Elvis Presley, The Meters, The Rolling Stones, etc. they create a lively, groovin’ old school blues, soul and rock band that is unforgettable. In addition to cover tunes, they will also present their original music which has earned them AAA radio play across the country and features on Jimmy Kimmel Live, NPR, CMT, and more. The duo is thrilled to bring their sound and show to the Boom Boom Room in San Francisco for one night only!
