West Coast indie groove sensations Blü Egyptian are a youthful quartet based out of Chico, CA. They have gained a reputation for their high energy shows with extended multi-genre jams, meaningful songwriting, and entertaining stage antics. Creating a unique fusion of funk, bluegrass, reggae, world music, rock, edm and more, they continue to push the musical spectrum everyday.
Since the release of their first album in 2021, they have been playing every weekend across Northern California with tours to Oregon, Washington, Southern Cal, and Nevada promoting their original music. They started out playing college parties and breweries gaining traction everywhere they went, elevating them to Night Clubs, Festivals, and the occasional theater. With big opportunities arising daily, you can find Blü Egyptian opening for national touring acts such as The Mother Hips and The String Cheese Incident.
In less than three years, Blü Egyptian has played over 200 shows, establishing themselves as one of the most promising upcoming bands on the scene. Their evergrowing fan base, known as the Blü Crü, continues to pack venues far and wide turning any room into the ultimate dance party.

Blü Egyptian are coming off an astounding year of touring! This no holds barred jamband has established themselves in Northern California sharing the stage with renowned national tour acts such as Dogs in a Pile, Jerry’s Middle Finger, Pink Talking Fish, Dizgo and The Mother Hips with a honorary sit-in with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong. They have created a buzz with festival appearances at Burning Man, Golden Road Gathering, Cascade Equinox, Gambler’s Run and Hog Farm Hideaway. Based in the Sacramento area, the band continues to tour from the Northwest to Colorado, Arizona and Southern California, playing over 500 shows in just five years. Blü Egyptian’s sound is constantly evolving taking influences from rock, bluegrass, funk and reggae to jamtronica for an energetic spontaneous live experience. With each show being different from the last, they create a soundscape of original songs with choice covers showcasing live improvisation and tight compositions for a balanced diet of raging dance party with an out-of-body experience.
