GROOVE 8
Groove 8 is US based jazz funk collective. The band was established in 2008 from various jazz and funk musicians from the local music Scene in Charlotte, NC. Since that time the band has produced over 15 recordings of which the latest – EVOLUTION being release in July 2025. Groove 8 has garnered numerous awards and attention for its multicultural and diverse genre approach to its music. In 2019, the Montreux Jazz Festival recognized Groove 8 as a band to watch. Member have gone on to perform with Prince, Lionel Ritchie, and others. Groove 8 has performed at the Fillmore Jazz Festival annually since 2005.
