The New Accidents formed in 2017 with the goal of creating fun, fresh, original ska and reggae music, inspired by the music that we grew up on.
Based upon a roux of Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Jimmy Cliff, other influences include UB40, The Police, The Specials, The English Beat, Madness, The Clash, Fishbone, Pato Banton, and third wave bands such as Sublime and No Doubt.
The goal is to create something completely fresh and original without regards to boundarie.
That means that other bands that we grew up on such as rock icons The Stones, The Who, and Led Zeppelin also creep into our music.

26-year-old singer-songwriter from San Francisco. She has been writing songs since the age of 10, slowly developing her sound into what can now be described as a blend of soulful indie rock and pop. She grew up being inspired by lyric-driven artists such as Emily King, Kacey Musgraves, and Taylor Swift and thoughtful lyricism is always at the forefront of her process as a result. She has said that songwriting is the only way she knows how to process her life experiences — translating moments into verses.
India Thieriot brings her emotionally sharp brand of indie pop to the Boom Boom Room for a night of soaring melodies and brutally honest storytelling. The set moves between intimate singer-songwriter moments and cathartic choruses, blending influences from indie pop, folk, and alternative rock. Expect songs about growing up, comparison, heartbreak, and hope—all delivered with the kind of energy that feels equally at home in a packed club or a late-night drive. With new music from her upcoming EP and a live show designed to pull audiences into her world, this promises to be a memorable night of connection, vulnerability, and big sing-along moments.
