Spreading joy since 2023, Guajirón brings a night full of Cuban grooves, tropical salsa, an open jam session, good drinks, and a wide open dance floor.
  Maybe you’ve been to Cuba and want to relive those late-night parties. Maybe you’re from Latin America and miss letting loose with a real Descarga Cubana. Or maybe you’re just out for a drink to wrap up the weekend. Whoever you are, step in and let the music move you. No salsa experience needed.
  Or maybe you’re a musician with the itch to play at San Francisco’s Cuban jam session, connect with a tight rhythm section and horn line, and help drive the dance floor.
  You’ll experience Guajirón, a 10-piece Vintage Cuban Pop band from San Francisco, opening the stage to musicians who want to jam with us. We play the best of authentic Cuban dance music, along with touches of tropical jazz inspired by the connection between Cuba and New Orleans.
  Here’s how it works:  hit the dance floor, or grab a drink and enjoy the band. If you’re a musician, sign up for the jam. We’ll invite you on stage to play with us, rotating throughout thenight. Charts and lyrics provided.
  Guajirón plays Vintage Cuban Pop built for grooving, dancing, and pure uplifting spirits. This 10-piece live orchestra delivers an original, percussion-driven sound— vintage Cuban hits reborn with fresh horns, deep drums, and infectious Tres guitar— designed to move the dance floor from the first song.

Guajirón brings together all ages and backgrounds—from college hipsters to salseros
to older couples—into one sweaty, joyful room. You don’t need Spanish or Cuban roots to feel it: the groove does the talking.  Lineup (10): Congas, percussion, 3 horns + flute, Tres guitar, piano, bass, and two dynamic lead vocalists.
