Garnering foundational experience in the Bay by leading the Soul Train Revival residency for 5 years at SF’s historic Boom Boom Room, McCarter’s devotion to expressing, enriching, and expanding the international roots and legacy of music is resounding with an influence by trailblazers who lit the way before.
